Who Needs Research Funding?

Did anybody else notice that almost all of the targeted cuts in the stimulus package involve research funding?

    An awful lot of DC policy folks a sure they already have all the answers, so why bother with research??

    I think you read too much into a sketchy story. Especially since the bill is supposed to be "stimulus"--quickly spent money--not something long-term.
